La Canardière is a converted Provençal farmhouse set in an elevated, peaceful position with glorious views over its own extensive grounds and the valley beyond as far as the Maures mountains and the coast.

Sensitively modernised, the house retains all its traditional charm while being light, spacious and comfortable. Terraces surround two sides of the houses and are well shaded, with plenty of space for lounging and dining, while steps lead down to the swimming pool set on its own terrace with a shaded outdoor bar area.

The house sleeps 8 to 10 and there is a self-contained 'cabanon' in the grounds near the main house and pool which sleeps a further 2 people.

The grounds extend to around two hectares, and are traditionally landscaped and terraced, with cypress trees and olives, almonds, fig, cherry and other fruit trees, fragrant lavender and grape vines.

This place, much-loved by the owners, has everything you need for a lovely, relaxing holiday with family or friends. But if you should wish to go exploring, the charming countryside and villages of the Var are all around you, there are frequent local Provencal markets nearby, or the beach is a fun day trip. The village of St Antonin-du-Var, with its own shop, bakery and restaurant is just a couple of kilometres away and the nearest market town is 10 minutes by car.
